If you are purchasing a baby blanket shipping will be $10. The larger blankets will vary dependant on size of the blanket. If I can save money in shipping for you I will. Some items are cheaper to send in an envelope and some cheaper in a box. I am hoping that in the near future I will be able to have set prices in order to help the customer and myself. Please send me your zip code so I can give you a more accurate price.
How long does it take to receive an order?
Crocheted blankets may take me as long as a month to finish. This will depend on how many projects I have on order. I crochet during the evening hours. Some blankets take 3-
Quilted blankets go a bit quicker. I would estimate 2 weeks for them dependant on how many projects I have on order. I work on my quilted blankets during the day so there is a bit more time available and many blankets take about 8-
Can I order something special that isn’t found on the site?
I prefer that you order something that I have already done before but I know that sometimes we just want something a little bit different. Specialty orders will cost you more because I will have to take time designing and figuring it out. It is best if you have a picture or a very good description of what you are requesting. I cannot recreate something that is copyrighted.
Can I request a name or initials to be added?
Yes, I can add names and initials to blankets to personalize them for you. I can use appliqués or embroidery. How ever my embroidery machine is a basic machine with some limitations.
Can I change colors on an item?
Yes, I can change colors to suit your needs. But I am limited to store availability.
Why aren’t some fabrics available?
Some fabrics are only available at stores for a limited time. I have no control over them and am at the mercy of the stores inventory. I normally shop at Joanns, Hobby Lobby, Walmart, and Michael’s. I will occasionally shop online at different places.
Can you add specialty fabrics to a blanket, like Mickey Mouse?
I can add these if available, but they normally cost more than the regular blankets. Some of these fabrics can run $14.99 a yard in comparison to $3.50 a yard.
